So as for music we try do things with similar minded venues that are in region. So that it makes sense to plan tours or recommend shows or recommend contacts and speak about finances. And then we are a part of network called ECAS, which is European Cities of Advanced Sound, which is a network that started in 2006. And before Meet Factory the member was a Sperm Festival, which is like my festival that I had started before working at Meet factory. There are similar festivals of experimental electronic music, avant-garde festivals like Club Transmediale or Unsound in Krakow or Skanu Mezs in Latvia and FutureEverything in Manchester and Multag in Canada.

And all these festivals and those who were, it was very grassroots. We just had the same share of problems. So we started talking to each other and recommend artists and talking about budget and talking about how to fundraise money. So, yeah, the network somehow started in 2006-2007. And we got funding from the Culture 2007-13, which is now depleted the project just finished like a month ago. And we decided to go for a bigger funding which is the new Creative Europe programme. And we currently got the funding in a platform call, which was evaluated a few days ago. So this is pretty new to us. There are 16 festivals from 12 countries, 16 organizations like ourselves. And we still have to think it over, what does it mean for us as the building, how will the cooperation look like.

But yes, we are pretty much trying to tie with similar organizations. You know, as we are the multi-genre center it is quite difficult because it is hard to find a center that has the same departments as we do and same kind of problems and are on a same level. I mean like there are several organizations even in Czech republic but they are pretty much just starting now. And although we try to help them as we can, it is hard to find a common ground for talks.
