Creative industries can push economy forward

Verona is a very conservative town so I think it was kind of difficult for us to understand that we are part its development. I can say that I understood that thanks to Trans Europe Halls - because it helped me to understand what’s going on in Europe and that our situation here in Verona can be compared to situations in other places. Even though Verona is a very rich city, I don’t think that the local municipality really understands that also contemporary culture and creative industries can push economy forward. I believe that investing into creativity could really make our life better and it would also increase economy development of the places where we live. I am really convinced about that and I can feel that here in Italy exists a big gap between politician´s way of thinking and way of thinking of people like us  - people that are trying to give our city better cultural opportunities.
