Participation of A38 in significant cultural events

Sándor Kozlov

We're taking part in different kind of grants, for example we have a program called the Polyphony which was realized between September 2010 and September 2011. It was a program dedicated to the EU presidency of Hungary, when we decided to present all the states of the European Union, in one festival. This festival was called the Polyphony and we managed to bring to Budapest the bands from Luxembourg, Greece, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia and more. It was a huge festival. And the whole festival was also represented on Hungarian state television as well as on one of the biggest Hungarian commercial radio stations. So it was a huge success and a good example of cooperation with the European Union. A38 ship is also participating in the Sziget festival, which takes place in Budapest and is one of the biggest music festivals in Central Europe and we're having our own stage which is the third biggest stage on this festival.

We are also doing a lot of international projects. One of them is the project called My city. My city is dedicated to representing the culture of Budapest abroad and also hosting different other cities here in Budapest. In the frames of the My city festival we have arranged Budapest festivals in Bratislava, Warsaw, Amsterdam, Prague, Ljubljana, and we've also been hosts for cities like Bratislava, Prague, Warsaw, Berlin, also Moscow and Ljubljana, Belgrade.
